- Why should I consider using eDivvyup.com?
- eDivvyup is a unique web-based application that is designed to help families deal with the emotionally-charged difficulties of distributing the non-asset personal items associated with the unfortunate death of a loved one. eDivvyup effectively removes much of the sibling emotions and in-fighting, which can occur while deciding who should receive the personal estate items.
Managed through an online auction, our goal is to provide an easy-to-use solution that will reduce the stress and tension that generally accompanies the responsibility of dividing items among interested parties.
- Is eDivvyup safe to use?
- Yes, eDivvyup is built on a secure web-based transaction process that secures the information in the estate. The auction process is fully password secured and each family member has their own e-mail and password protected sub-application. All participants are set by the Estate Manager and no one can participate in the auction without his or her express permission.
- Is the eDivvyup process complicated?
- Not at all. In fact, our intuitive process makes our auction site easy-to-use. Using pull down menus and defaults, setting up the estate is fast and easy. The member bidding process is similar to other web-based auction site standards. If you have visited any other online auction service, you will find eDivvyup simple to use.

- Who can use the eDivvyup auction site?

- Are there tax ramifications to using eDivvyup I should take into consideration?
- eDivvyup is meant to manage the distribution of non-monetary articles within an estate that may not have been addressed in any legal documents. These items include such things as golf clubs, photo albums, grandfather clock, and dad’s pocket watch. eDivvyup is dealing with personal value - not financial value.
